Our AGM is fast approaching - this is your time to shine - why not come along and join our little group - together we can do BIG things!

We have a few community projects pinned to our board but we would love someone - just like you - to be there with us to make these ideas happen. For just a small commitment of your time - we meet every 2 months at a local cafe, we may need you to take flyers to work or share with your friends, we may ask you to help us set up for an event, we may even find you surprise even yourself with what you have inside to offer!

It is so rewarding to give back to your community in some small way - no experience needed at all!
We hope you can come along - please RSVP so we can pull up a seat for you.

Will Wentworth play out in the bush?

Author: Kate

The threat of strong independent candidates to the major parties in the upcoming federal election won’t be as pronounced in rural seats according to a leading political commentator.

Independent candidate Dr Kerryn Phelps remains on track to win the seat of Wentworth with a massive swing of nearly 19 per cent against the Liberal Party – a result many say highlights the threat of high profile independent candidates to the major parties.

Farm family shows the Royals how the drought has hurt I Gallery

Author: Kate

It’s not every day a Duke and a Duchess walk through the front gate on the property Mountain View Farm at Wongarbon near Dubbo – nor eight police with sniffer dogs, scores of press members and a retinue of VIPs and officials.

But that’s what happened yesterday when the Woodley family hosted Prince Harry and his new wife, US-raised Meghan Markle as the Royals took time out from their Dubbo visit to learn how hard the drought has been.

Laura Woodley, 23, even had time for a personal chat with Meghan, explaining what she does and how she is proud to be the fifth generation of Woodleys on the farm, a White Suffolk sheep stud.
